This unit
introduces the basic framework and principles of the
Buddhist system of knowledge with regard to the
identification, cause and removal of mental stress, anger
and fear.
It identifies the contribution of Buddhist psychology to
mental health services, human services, environment,
education and peace movements.
Buddhist approaches to eliminate mental suffering
including the four noble truths and the eightfold pathway
are identified and how to apply them to ones daily life.
An essential unit to promote peace, happiness and well
being within yourself, your family and your community.
This unit forms part of the Diploma in Buddhist
Psychotherapy Counselling offered by the Sophia College |
