Australian Institute of Holistic Medicine is pleased to offer a short course in Ayurvedic Massage. This is a core unit for the Advanced Diploma of Ayurveda and the Certificate IV in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultation courses.

This course offers:

Introduction to the human body according to Ayurveda (Vata, Pitta and Kapha regions)

Ailment specific massage techniques in specific areas of the body. Eg, Knee pain massage, Constipation relieving massage, etc

Full body massage – Relaxation Technique (Anti-stress)

Selection of various Ayurvedic oils for Massages 

Shiro Dhara therapy – A unique therapy of continuous flow of medicated oils on forehead for insomnia, hypertension, anti-stress, etc

Ayurvedic massage techniques on different parts of the body (Partial Massage) that include:

1. Ayurvedic Head massage
2. Face Massage
3. Neck and Shoulders massage
4. Upper and Lower limb massages
5. Back massage
6. Chest and Abdomen massage
